Hi Kunal:

At that price I have to say it is a very good bargain. Go for it. You will not be disappointed. The Rebel XL is an excellent camera and along with the two lenses it will cover a wide variety of photography areas.

If you have a slightly bigger budget, then go for the Canon EOS Rebel XSi - it has some better features like 12 MP, bigger preview LCD and better highlight handling.

Wish you all the best. With regards.

Hi Kunal:

Let me know how it goes. If you are buying in India do consider www.pixetra.com - I will talk to the concerned people and get you a good price. For service and such issues if something goes wrong later on, it is better to buy locally. But we cannot match US price because we pay customs duty

Best wishes always.

Hi Kunal

I would suggest you to go for Canon 70-300mm IS lens. This would help you to click photos without any need for tripod. The Image Stabilizer helps you to take blurr free pictures at ease that you can it hand held.

I have done some research on this and found that many prefer IS for some neat clicks.

My friend from US is getting me 70-300 IS when he is down here as it is very less price over there.

There are lens with 75-300mm telephoto lens, however, they do not have IS, would not be best unless tripod is used.

I'm an amatuer photographer, however, it is very interesting when we venture and learn new lessons on photography.
